  1. Introduction Solis ("we", "our", or "us") is a mobile application that helps you track and simulate sunlight in your home. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

By using Solis, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

  1. Information We Collect

2a. Account Information When you create an account, we collect your email address and a display name (optional). This is used to identify your account and sync your data across devices.

2b. Location Data Solis requests access to your device's GPS location to calculate the sun's position relative to your property. Your coordinates are used only for astronomical calculations (sunrise, sunset, sun angle) and are stored alongside your property records in our secure database. We do not share your location with any third party.

2c. Camera Solis uses your device camera solely to help you frame windows and capture the compass bearing of each window. No photos or video are stored or transmitted by Solis. The camera feed is processed entirely on-device.

2d. Property and Window Data Information you enter — property names, addresses, room names, window bearings, obstruction details, and floor plans — is stored in your account so you can access it across devices.

2e. Subscription and Payment Data If you subscribe to Solis Pro, payment is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not receive or store your credit card details. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status — RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier linked to your Supabase user ID to determine whether your account has an active Pro entitlement.

2f. Usage and Diagnostic Data We may collect anonymised crash reports and basic usage information to improve the app. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

  1. Data Storage and Security Your account data is stored securely using Supabase (supabase.com), a managed database platform hosted on AWS. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to your data is protected by Row Level Security policies — only you can read or modify your own data.
  2. Third-Party Services Solis uses the following third-party services:

— Supabase (supabase.com) — database, authentication, and file storage — RevenueCat (revenuecat.com) — subscription management — Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com) — weather forecast data (no personal data is sent; only your coordinates are used for the weather API query) — Apple App Store / Google Play — payment processing

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

  1. Data Retention We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data — including properties, rooms, windows, reports, and subscription records — is permanently deleted from our database within 30 days.
  2. Your Rights Depending on your location, you may have the right to: — Access the personal data we hold about you — Correct inaccurate data — Request deletion of your data — Export your data

You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the app (Profile → Delete Account). This immediately and permanently deletes all your data from our systems.
